Concealers are extremely important in anyone's makeup routine. Concealers are used to conceal any dark spots, blemishes, or discoloration. They are also used to highlight the face in different areas such as the middle of the forehead, bridge of the nose, and chin. I use concealers to correct the dark circles underneath my eyes as well as to highlight the faee. If you have problems with makeup creasing underneath the eyes these concealers pictured above would be perfect for you because they have a thinner consistency rather than a cream concealer. My four favorite concealers are pictured above.
From the left is the Maybelline Age Rewind which can be found at Walgreens, CVS, and Walmart. The Age Rewind concealer is an amazing affordable option that will conceal anything you need. The applicator is a sponge that can be directly applied to the skin. I recommend blending it out with a beauty blender or concealer brush. The consistency is thin so it will not cake up underneath the eyes. The next concealer is the concealer I use most often which is the Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer. This concealer can be found at Ulta and Sephora. The consistency is thin yet full coverage. The naked skin concealer blends out perfectly and no matter what skin color you are you will be able to match your tone because the color range is perfect. They even have color correctors in the same formula. The third concealer is the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer which can be found at Sephora. The concealer has a thicker texture than the Urban Decay concealer but covers dark circles like a dream. Most celebrities use this concealer because it has been around for a long time. Mars recently released more shades to accommodate more skin tones. The last concealer is the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer which can be found at Sephora and Ulta. This concealer is the most recent to release and has quickly captured the hearts of a lot of people. This concealer is the thickest of the group but blends out so nicely. The color selection for this concealer is not the best because it does not accommodate very fair skin or very dark skin. After applying concealer under the eyes I set the concealer with a translucent powder so the concealer does not crease. Sephora.com Ulta.com
